about therapy
Therapy is a safe and supportive place to explore and focus on your ways of being, relating, behaving, and feeling. People seek therapy for many reasons and not just due to 'problems' and 'symptoms'. While I am qualified to diagnose mental health conditions, my focus is geared more toward resolving the ways that the past may be impacting the present and exploring how current behaviors and relating may be serving. Together we can consider new ways of being that may be better serving and embrace the 'human' parts of yourself.
areas addressed
Speciality areas include: helping professionals, anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, women's issues, trauma/PTSD, stress, adoption, phase of life support, family conflict, grief, self-esteem, and more...
I have an affinity for working with those in helping professions to work on their own care, as well as young adults in life transitions.
At this time, the practice is focusing on working with adults only, but will consider ART-only services with children and teens.
